A Nation of Ignorance

I'll save the political punditry for the Huffington Post and Meet The Press, but I've spoken to too many people lately who actually think McCain is a better choice than Obama. They say McCain has more experience and that Obama will just raise taxes. McCain's a well known war hero who'll protect us from the big bad terrorists, while Obama is probably one of them, they argue. And the list of excuses to put this country through at least another 4 years of incompetent leadership continues.

But what bothers me most is that people won't simply be honest. I think we all know what their real objection is to Obama. After all, we wouldn't want his first presidential address to look like this:

haha! The only thing that is scary about electing obama is that there is a very strong possibility that Biden will end up in power after too many people try to take Obama's life. There is no question that the USA is still a very racist country and there will be a lot of crazy angry rednecks with Obama in their sights.
